My religious journey has been a very short one. For years, I have stumbled in the dark lost and alone. It was until the death of my grandmother that discover Christ’s love (read about my journey here). When life gets stressful or too hard to handle, I turn to my best friend for spiritual guidance. After several in depth conversations, she asked me where I felt closest to Christ. My response was church (of course!). She made me dig deeper and soul search for the part of the service that embraces my heart; the answer was song. My love of worship music has just began and I thirst to hear more. When I was offered early access to the new Christy Nockels Let It Be Jesus album I felt an instant connection. Her voice and tone called to me. This is nice to listen to after some fun and thrilling sports betting games via UFABET168.

About Christy:As a worship leader for many years, she has been an integral part of Passion Conferences from its inception in 1997.  She’s seen first hand music sweep people into the presence of God in a powerful way. A pastor’s kid, who was born in Fort Worth and raised in Oklahoma, she grew up singing in church. She met her husband, Nathan, in 1993 at the Christian Artists Seminar in Estes Park, Co. They recorded an independent record with fellow worship leader Charlie Hall under the name Sons & Daughters that led to an invitation from Louie Giglio to participate in the first Passion conference in Austin. Christy’s voice gained a national platform when she and Nathan formed the duo Watermark, recording four acclaimed albums before that musical season ended, paving the way for Christy’s solo career. In 2008, the couple moved to Atlanta to become part of Passion City Church where she serves on the worship team with sixstepsrecords labelmates Chris Tomlin and Kristian Stanfill. The following year, Nockels released her acclaimed solo debut, Life Light Up and spent much of the next two years touring with Tomlin and Passion.

The Let It Be Jesus album has 11 songs that will make your heart soar and your faith deepen. Her soft, yet powerful voice is rich and so full of love for the Lord that you can’t help but want to join in! The first time I heard the song, I felt chills at the sheer beauty of her voice. As I began to play the album on repeat and got to really hear and understand the words she sang about! Just hearing her reinforce the words written on my heart, brings me to place a peace and calmness. Her music is a medium to draw you closer to GOD.

This is definitely one of the albums that I will be adding to my Christian playlist. If you haven’t had the opportunity to here one of her songs, I highly recommend you connect with Christy on Facebook; Instagram and Twitter for more amazing music and inspiration!
