What is it about kids and their fascination with bodily functions?
Starting around age 3, many little boys and girls go through a long phase during which they become obsessed with bodily functions. At first, I think it starts out as an accident. They are proud and celebrated by the proper disposal of bodily functions in the washroom (i.e. Potty training). Then one, day they are sharing their good news with an adult in their life and he/she giggles or gets embarrassed. This becomes a source of laughter and the child thinks its funny to shock adults with this kinds of talk. The more they say words like Poop and fart, the bigger reactions they get, so it becomes a game. Its a normal part of growing up and it happens all over the world. So why not have fun with it?

The minute this wacky set arrived at our house, my kids, from the 7 year old right up to the 12 year old, was begging to play it. They may be long past the hilarity of bodily functions stage, but they still love the idea of creating their own poop emojis. The set comes with:
12 cups of Play-Doh ( 4x brown, 2x pink, 2x teal, 2x orange, 1x black, 1x white),
4 tools to help create your poop base,
and 12 sets of arms, ears, legs, eyes, hats, noses, and mouths.
Immediately, the kids began formulation their perfect Poop Troop member. They divided up the colour Play-Doh and accessories and let their imagination take way. There is no one way to to make the proper Poop Troop member so the kids had fun creating characters, smashing them and recreating someone new. They played with this activity for multiple days and were entertained for several hours! I love giving them a project where their imagination can run wild. Plus, we ended up many new characters for our Poop Troop and a whole lot of laughter!
