In my house Christmas Eve runs late and Christmas morning comes early. I feel like I’ve just finished wrapping the last gift and preparing the last Christmas surprise when I hear the giggles and not so quite voices of three excited children ready to see if they have been good or bad this year.
I love the excitement and gleam in their eyes, but this mama is tired! The only thing that gets me up and going that early is the sweet smell of coffee brewing in my Keurig. This year, I am in for a treat with Van Houtte’s New holiday coffees and homemade Nanaimo bars.
This is the new holiday flavour that will sure become a tradition! This classical blend is a medium roast with plenty of spirit. It is rich and flavourful with intense woodsy notes and subtle acidity. The hardy aroma will make parents leap from their beds before the kids on Christmas morning!
For a creamy, fancier coffee after dinner or with a few of your favourite Christmas cookies, the Holiday Spice Latte is a definitely the right choice. With its warm and inviting aroma of cinnamon, this spiced latte combines sweet and buttery flavour notes with a hint of vanilla. A delectable treat for the holidays, perfect for sharing with friends and family.
Not only do these two blends add a dose of comfort and holiday spirit during the holidays, but they also make a tasty stir-in when added to traditional holiday recipes. Here is one of my new favourite Holiday recipes from the Van Houtte kitchen!
