My DS8 has always loved the snow. From the first time I put him into that one piece Tigger snowsuit (that didn’t allow him much movement) to the last snow fall we had this winter, he has loved the snow. I remember the day his DS6 was born. We were at my parents and there was a wicked snowstorm. Since it was an impromptu visit, I didn’t bring DS8’s snowsuit. That didn’t keep DS8 (age 3 at the time) from wanting to help his Grandfather shovel the driveway. He spent hours out there, enjoying the snow, while the rest of the world cringed!
His love of snow can last hours on end. Red cheeks and cold toes don’t bother this snow angel, however get snow in his gloves and it’s game over. We have tried every solution on market to save his poor hands; mitt clips, long gloves, you name it, but when he dives into that snow pile, it is inevitable that those gloves will come off or become filled with snow.
Whether you are a mom of a toddler who regularly likes to take off (and throw their mitts) during your morning walk or a child who loves snow just not in their gloves, then Mitt Grips are the solution you have been looking for!
Mitt Grips are unique little sleeves that keep mittens and gloves on children’s hands while protecting their wrists and arms from the cold and snow. They were created by Roger Tremblay, a father of a young child, who was tired of chasing his toddler around and adjusting or picking up a mitten every time they played in the snow. After trying every solution on the market, Roger decided to create one! After spending many hours on the sewing machine and rigorously testing out various ideas, Mitt Grips were born! They are made out of stretchy spandex and they work with all styles of mittens and gloves and can be worn under or over jacket sleeves. They are suitable for children from 12 months to 6 years
They are very simple to use:
Step 1: Put on Gloves
Step 2: Pull Mitt Grip on top of glove
Step 3: Put on jacket.
My kids loved their Mitt Grips. Not only did they come in funky colours, but they were so easy to use! I loved the stretch fabric that went from wrist right up the arm. There were no more lost gloves in the snow and DD3 wasn’t able to remove her mitts constantly like she did in the past. Well made and a great idea, I hope this item comes to markets so that Moms everywhere can benefit!
