The Glutino Gluten Free Gurus
In February I announced that Glutino will be introducing you to athletes and other famous people who live a gluten free lifestyle. We will share their favourite snacks, tips and tricks to survive in a Gluten world. This Month’s Gluten Free Guru is Lauren Lucille Vasser, also known as the Celiac Diva!
Lauren Lucille Vasser, Celiac DIVA
Laure began an online show and blog to share her tips to living a gluten free lifestyle after 5 year struggle with health problems. After meeting with over 75 doctors, she was finally diagnosed will celiac disease. Seeing this diagnosis as a gift of hope, she decided to dedicate her life to spreading the word that Celiac disease isn’t a problem but rather a solution. Through her blog Celiac Diva, Lauren shares tips and tricks for living a gluten free lifestyle with a heavy focus on gluten free beauty products and why they are important to a gluten free lifestyle.
Multigrain crackers Littered with poppy seeds, a hint of rosemary and a hearty crunch, these crackers are the perfect partner to any dip or strong cheese. I love to crumble these crackers on top of casseroles or use them as a breading for chicken or fish.
Rosemary & Olive Oil crackers These are my favourite crackers. With the earthy aroma from the rosemary and the delicate taste of the olive, it is the perfect cracker for cheeses and tips. If in a rush or tempted by mid afternoon munchies, I grab the box and eat them plain!
Original Table Crackers Whether I’m sick and looking for a plain companion for my chicken noodle soup or if I have a cheese that takes center stage, the original Table cracker is my go to cracker. The taste and texture is the perfect gluten free substitute for a saltine cracker!
Sandwich Bread Mix One item that a person with Celiac disease misses the most is freshly baked bread. There is no smell, texture and flavour greater, then biting into a piece of bread that just came out of the oven. Glutino Sandwich Bread Mix allows you to easily, achieve this in your own kitchen! Moist, delicious and easy to make, it is one of my favourite products! This week, I used the Sandwich Bread Mix to create a tasty banana bread that is mouthwatering.
