This is a #LetsTalkBums sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cottonelle but all opinions are my own!
Being a Mom of three kids, a babysitter since I was 13 years old, a personal care worker, and person with a “Bottom”, I have had enough experience with bums to last me a life time! Talking about your bum is taboo for many people, but for a MOM its an everyday thing! For example, just the other day I was in Walmart doing my weekly grocery shop with my family, when suddenly DS5 has to use the washroom very badly. Since we are a frequent visitor of Walmart, he ran off to the bathroom with DD1 and I in slow pursuit. As DD1 and I approached the bathroom, an elderly lady was giggling and told me a little boy just ran past with his pants around his ankles and his cute little bum in air! Ah, just a typical day in my life!
When I heard that Triberr was accepting Cottonelle Brand Ambassador, I knew I had to apply! Excitedly, I was accepted to the “Be kind to your behind” campaign and I’m ready to bare it all! So #letstalkbums!
Growing up I was NEVER known as the “shy” one! I can’t count the number of times my parents have rolled their eyes and said “Oh JENNIFER!” for the crazy inappropriate things I’ve done. Hey! Come on! If you are going to make fun of my “crack” hanging out of my pants and tell me you can see my bum, I’m gonna show you my bum!! All my fun is in good humor and never mean to hurt or offend anyone. I believe the human body is a beautiful thing, but its that, the human body. Its something WE ALL HAVE! Yours may look a bit different then mine or function slight better, but when you get down to it we all have the same thing, so why not share our funny stories and enjoy what Mother Nature gave us!
Over the next few weeks, over the course of the campaign, I will be sharing funny and embarrassing stories and talking about everything from toilet paper to potty training to bums! I hope you will join in and share some of your favourite behind moments! #LetTalkBums
To begin our chat, I thought I’d share Cherry Healy’s comical attempt to remind us to be kind to our behinds!
