Today is a very sad day, it is the last day of my baby sister’s vacation (She lives 1400 km away!) at our house! It’s always fun when ‘Aunty K’ comes! The kids love going to the park, shopping and being photographed by their aunt! When she leaves, she still remains a huge part of their lives. Besides the phone calls and video chats, she is also their pen pal! We send and receive cards every holiday, gift boxes on birthdays and at Christmas and of course they are always sending her artwork that they make at school. This time when Aunty K came she brought artwork of her own for my kids. It is beautiful and we can’t wait to hang it on the wall!
Aunty K was nice enough to share the secrets behind her masterpiece for me to share with all my readers!

Aww… it’s so hard when family lives far away, but what lovely art to keep close to you! I have seen variations on this technique, but that is the prettiest example I have seen yet. I love it!

This is one of the coolest crayon art pieces I’ve ever seen.
That’s a really good piece of art work. I like it better than the usual drip crayon artwork you see on pinterest.
Very cute and a great project for all those extra crayons!
That is just too cute! I have never seen one like this. I have seen the crayons where they come from the top but not arranged like this. I love it!
