Before children, a camera was something that I took with me on vacations or to weddings to capture special moments. It was to the point that I didn’t even own a camera, but rather relied on disposable cameras (I know! eh!) for these special events. Post children (i.e the moment peed on the initial pregnancy test), I have become a photo junkie. I am by no means at very good. I take pictures because my children grow far to fast and I want to remember EVERY SINGLE MOMENT!
The Trouble maker
Both of my DSs are well aware of my obsession. The oblige and smile providing me with many precious photographs over the years. My love for photographing is so great that my DH jokes with my children and says if you just smile once, Mom will take the picture and leave us alone! All of that changed with my DD. When she was little and not able to demonstrate her stubbornness, I obtain many beautiful pictures, but as she’s aged she has learned to turn away or look down when the camera comes out. I can sing, I can make funny faces and I can make funny noises, but nothing will bring her attention to the camera. Its frustrating and saddening because I feel like I’m missing some great shots. I was complaining about these missed photo ops to a friend who told me about an amazing product she saw that morning on the Ellen Degeneres Show. I knew I had to share it with my readers!
