3 Lessons My Family Learned From the Cars Movies
2. Winning isn’t everything At the beginning of the movie, when McQueen wins the race he is showered in praise, gifts and attention. Winning becomes so important that he risks Mack’s life to get to California first. After his detour in Radiator Springs, he learns that there is more to race than winning. This is demonstrated when Lightning decided to help The King get to the finish line, instead of taking first place himself. Everyone was proud of Lightning McQueen because he thought of other people first.
