When I turned 16, a coffee house moved into the neighbourhood. It was a place where my girl friends and I would gather to gossip, hang out and of course enjoy a great cup of coffee. As I aged and matured, my time became occupied by other responsibilities. Instead of coffee being a special treat shared with friends, it became a necessity to startearly mornings and make it through busy days. Oh how I long for the good old days!
Last Tuesday, while the boys where involved in an extracurricular activity at our church, my DD3 and I were driving around, looking for something to do. We were ended up in an area that I wasn’t too familiar with when I happened upon a Coffee Culture. I had heard about this coffee house from friends, but I had never been. With an hour to kill, DD3 and I decided to have a girl’s coffee date.
The moment we walked in, I had flashbacks of my teenage years. The mood was mellow and inviting, there was a fireplace roaring in one corner, a couch and some big comfy chairs in another and a dozen small tables filled with students and friends gathered to share in a great cup of coffee. With over 70 locations across North America and many of them opening at 6 am, this Canadian owned company provides the perfect comfortable and cozy ambiance to enjoy a great cup of coffee.

Our first introduction to a #Freddoccino
There were so many options on the menu. From delicious freshly made sandwiches to homemade cookies to coffees of every style, flavour and type imaginable, the options were endless. I love trying new beverages so I told the barista to pick. She recommend a #Freddoccino. Freddoccino’s are one of Coffee Cultures signature drink! This cold beverage is made with a shot of espresso and is the perfect choice for the warm weather that is finally making its appearance. With four amazing (Caramel, Mocha, Oreo Crumble, or Coffee) flavours to choose from there is something for everyone. I selected the Oreo Crumble Freddoccino. It was the best frozen coffee drink I have ever had. Smooth and creamy, rich and full of flavour, mixed with chocolate and real Oreos, the Oreo Freddoccino was the right amount of coffee and cream without being overly sweet. If you are looking for a new drink this spring to share with friends, I highly recommend you head over to Coffee Culture and give their #Freddoccino a try!
