What is @CookingwithCutco?
Although I have a well known love affair with Cutco knifes, I never consider hosting a Cutco party in my home until I heard about the Cooking with Cutco experience. I provided a few friends, some food and some wine, and a Cutco representative taught my guests how to prepare a healthy, nutritious meal using the Cutco knife and cookware line. We learned which knife you should choose when cutting up vegetables vs chicken and the proper motions, one should go through to get the most power out of your knife. A Cutco knife may appear to be like any other knife on the market, but when you watch it slice through cheese like its butter or feel the power it gives you when hacking through a watermelon, you realize how much easier daily kitchen chores can be if you own the right knife.
Our menu for the evening included fresh bread and specialty cheeses, seasoned roast chicken (thanks to the Chicken Farmers of Canada), a kale citrus salad, steamed carrots and corn on the cob, lemon grass jasmine rice, poppy seed fruit salad topped off with red and white Seven Generation wine donated by Chateau Des Charmes Bosc.
It was a fun evening full of laughter, mini sous-chefs and education. My guests loved the hands on experience, the ability to ask questions, create healthy, nutritious recipes and learn from a knife expert with over 20 years of experience. I loved sharing my pride for a company that stands behinds it’s product and provides a quality product that can be passed down from generation to generation.
